Accessibility Statement

In plain English

Our commitment to accessible learning and how to request accommodations.

Starfhax Institute is committed to making our website and courses usable by adult learners with disabilities.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA for the website and course materials. This includes sufficient color contrast, keyboard navigation, descriptive headings and text alternatives for images.

Course accessibility

Live classes use Zoom, which offers automatic captions, chat and screen sharing. Moodle includes text-based alternatives for audio and video where practical. Materials can be provided in accessible formats on request.

Requesting accommodations

Email accessibility@starfhax.institute with the support you need, such as extended time, captioned recordings, large-print materials or screen-reader-friendly documents. Requests are reviewed within 2 business days and accommodations are provided at no additional cost.

Known limitations

Some third-party tools (Zoom, Moodle, Stripe) are outside our direct control. We choose providers that publish accessibility commitments and we offer alternative arrangements when a barrier is reported.

Feedback

If you encounter a barrier, tell us at accessibility@starfhax.institute or through the complaint process. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and to resolve or provide an alternative promptly.
