Recording & Media Release Policy
In plain English
How classes may be recorded and how recordings are used.
Live classes may be recorded so students can review material. This policy explains how recordings are made and used.
Class recordings
Instructors may record live sessions. Recordings are used for review by enrolled students and for quality improvement, and are available in Moodle during the course.
Notice
Students are told when a session is recorded. You may keep your camera off and use a display name if you prefer not to appear.
Student recording
Students may not record or screenshot sessions without written permission from the instructor and the consent of participants.
Use of student work
We may use anonymized student work as teaching examples. We will ask for your written permission before using work with your name or image in marketing.
Retention
Recordings are retained while the cohort is active and for up to 12 months afterward, then deleted unless needed for a documented purpose.
