The agreement that governs your enrollment and use of our services.
These terms form the agreement between you and Starfhax Institute when you use this website or enroll in a program.
About us
Starfhax Institute is a private online educational organization headquartered in Waterloo, Iowa, USA. We provide non-degree English language instruction and continuing education for adults.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to enroll. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login details confidential. Sharing an account is not permitted.
Enrollment and access
Enrollment is personal and non-transferable. Instant Access courses are available for 12 months from purchase. Hybrid cohort access runs through the final class plus 60 days. We may change course content, instructors or schedules when necessary and will give reasonable notice of material changes.
Payment
Tuition is charged in US dollars at checkout through Stripe. Prices are shown before payment. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend access until the balance is resolved.
Acceptable use
You agree to follow the Student Code of Conduct, Academic Integrity Policy and Technology Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations.
Intellectual property
Course materials are owned by Starfhax Institute or its licensors and are licensed to you for personal study only. Recording, copying, reselling or redistributing materials is prohibited.
No guarantees
We do not guarantee a particular test score, job, admission decision or visa outcome. Certificates confirm completion of our programs and are not academic degrees.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a program is limited to the amount you paid for that program.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA. Disputes are handled under the Student Complaint Policy before any legal action.
